BA Beam Hanger's
The BA is designed for engineered wood and solid sawn lumber applications. This top-flange hanger can carry medium loads with solid sawn lumber and higher loads with engineered wood products. The BA features minimum nailing with positive-angle nailing (PAN) to target moderate load conditions and maximum nailing to support higher loads.
The HDB is designed to provide loads for intermediate-load-range shearwalls, braced-wall panels and lateral applications in wood construction. This bolted holdown is installed with bolts into studs or columns and offers low-deflection performance for a range of load requirements. The HDB is suitable for back-to-back applications where eccentricity is a concern.
The HTT is a high-strength solution for resisting tension loads in post-pour, wood-to-concrete connections. This heavy, single-piece formed tension tie is fastened with nails or Strong-Drive® SD Connector screws. The HTT has a four-ply formed seat and a design without rivets that does not require washers.
The HTTH6.5 heavy tension tie is an ideal solution for residential construction as well as light-framed wood commercial buildings. Tested per AC 155, the HTTH6.5 is the first nailed-on holdown to achieve up to 7,650 lb. allowable load, making it an economical solution when heavier loads are required.
Ideal for multifamily, multilevel Type III residential construction, the patent-pending DGT™ is a load-tested fire wall hanger with a two-hour fire rating. It's the first fire wall hanger designed to install with a power nailer, saving time before hanging drywall, which helps keep construction projects on schedule. This top-flange hanger provides space for two layers of 5/8" gypsum board (drywall) to be slipped into place after the framing is complete. The DGT has been tested according to ASTM E814 and is fire rated for use on both sides of the wall.
The LUS is an easy-to-install, economical hanger designed for common lumber sizes. This widely used hanger features double-shear nailing that distributes the load through two points on each joist nail for greater strength. This allows for fewer nails, faster installation and the use of all common nails for the same connection.
The LRUZ offers an economic alternative for those applications requiring a sloped hanger for rafter-to-ridge connections. Used with solid sawn rafters, the LRUZ’s unique design enables the hanger to be installed either before or after the rafter is in place. The field-adjustable seat helps improve job efficiency by eliminating mismatched angles in the field and lead times associated with special orders. The LRUZ offers comparable or better load capacity to other rafter hangers at a reduced cost while using fewer fasteners.
The innovative LSSJ® is ideal for connecting jack rafters to hip members. Featuring a one-sided connection point for ease of installation and a versatile, hinged seat, the LSSJ is easily field adjustable to all typical rafter slopes ranging from 0:12 to 12:12. The LSSJ’s header flange allows for easy skew adjustment, from 0° to 45°. It ships pre-bent at 45° so is ready to place for most typical applications. Specify left (L) or right (R) model when ordering.
The HUC is designed for structures requiring additional strength and safety factors. These face-mount joist hangers have concealed header flanges providing cleaner visible lines in exposed conditions. Some models of this heavy-duty hanger can be special ordered with a skewable seat and a seat that slopes as far as up to 45°.
The patent-pending LSSR® light slopeable/skewable rafter hanger is the next generation of a field-adjustable rafter hangers. One of its key features is that it can be installed after the rafter has been tacked into place. A versatile hanger, it is field adjustable for skews up to 45° and features an innovative hinged swivel seat which adjusts up to a 45° slope.
